Good Times!

Saturday, Christa invited us to go repelling. Needless to say I was up for totally, even with a blister the size of a quarter on the bottom of my foot. We set up on about a 120 ft smaller drop from cougar cliffs just up the road from St. George. I though well I'll take one of my kids over. I first asked Tessa. She wasn't up to being the first to go over the edge. Kaylie was jumping up and down, saying "I want too!", over and over again. So I wrapped her up in my fully adjustable belt and picked her up to see if it was fitting good and she would not slip out. Then slapped her on my belt and away we went. I was totally waited to hear, "I'm scared!", or at least something to that effect.

------ Waiting for it! ------
---- Nothing, not even scream! -------

------ Just the BIGGEST GRIN I HAVE EVER SEEN ------

As soon as we got the bottom, Kaylie says "Let's do it again!". Made me a proud dad! I guess in the background Jackson was saying "My Turn!". Just as soon as I made back up to the top the wind was gusting like crazy and didn't dare take anyone down. So, something to look forward too!
Thanks to Verl and Christa for a great afternoon!
I forgot just how much fun it is to repel, and now the enjoyment of sharing it with my kids. Oh, and by the way it was like 60 degrees and Saturday night we got about an inch of SNOW!!! - GOT TO LOVE IT!!!

I am so jealous! I haven't repelled for ages! Looks fun-can't believe how brave the kiddos are! :0)

Well your kids are definitely braver than I am. I went repelling once and it took a lot more than that to get me over the edge :)
