Today was the first day of the 500 calorie diet. I weighed myself this morning and lost .4lbs. I wasn't expecting that, but I will take it. I am not going to lie, today was hard. I had a small headache all day and was a little hungry also. I had for breakfast lots of water, an apple and one Melba toast. For a lunch 3 oz. of grilled chicken and 3 oz. of salad with fat free, sugar free, calorie free ranch dressing ( it's ok). Then for a snack, an apple and one Melba toast. Dinner 3 oz grilled steak and 3 oz salad with the ranch dressing. In the mean time, drinking lots and lots of water.
I started off my day with going to get bountiful baskets, which was a good thing. It had broccoli, strawberries and some other veggies I can have. It's a good thing we can mix it up a little, because if I had to eat the same thing for the 40 days, I don't think I could do it.
Then Coral Cliff movie theatre was having a free movie the Hoosiers, for the start of the Washington County Fair. We took the whole family and they did great. They had free candy for the kids and after, they had a drawing. We won a t-shirt for the kids, with the fairs theme on it.

After that, I came home and took a nap. Then Trevor and Kim invited us to Quail Lake for some tubing and skiing. That helped take my mind off my headache. I went tubing with Kaylie and Jackson and also tried to ski. That was funny, never got up. Tried 3 times, oh well!!!

Megan good luck with your diet! My mom said her only problem was getting too tired at about day 5. She took B vitamin drops that helped with that and suppressed her appetite maybe you should ask your doctor if it would help with headaches as well. Good Luck!
