Dr. visit with Lou Rossi

Since I decided to do the HCG and Steve was for it, I had to act quickly, so I wouldn't back out. When I got back from Moab with my mom (she is the one to convinced me to do it) I called and made an appointment with Lou Rossi. Lou talked over all the guidelines and gave my some suggestions and help me feel more at ease. He has done it himself and likes the results. He was happy to hear that I would be joining Weight Watchers after and said that most people go back to their habits before they did the shots and that is why they gain the weight back. I got some blood work done to make sure there's nothing else causing my weight gain. The tech didn't get the needle in the right place on the left arm, so he had to try it on the right arm, which worked. Thank goodness, I hate getting pricked. For that reason, hating to get pricked, I was nervous to do the shots. But desperate things call for desperate measures, or what ever that saying is. I went to my moms work, so she could show me how to load the needle and how to "shoot up". She is a nurse, so she knows that kind of stuff. For my job (tutoring at the same place my mom works) I needed to get a TB shot, so that is how she showed me. After that, I went to the store to load up on my fatty foods. Like I had said in a previous blog, the first 2 days is load up on all the fatty foods you want. Then day 3 and on is the 500 calorie a day diet. So now for my progress each day!!!
