Part 1 of the Moab trip with Tessa!!!

This post I have to break up in 3 days, that shows how many pictures I took. This trip my mom invited Sara and Anna Green. They use to live with my parents while they were waiting for the house they were going to rent, become available. Anna is the same age as Tessa.



We decided to stop and take a tour of Cove Fort. If you haven't taken the tour, it is worth it.



This is the Hinckley's home, that they brought over from Coalville, Utah.
They made these doors heavy and filled them with sand. It wasn't a fort to keep enemy's away, but a place for protection from weather as they traveled.

Look how thick these walls are.... They are made from lava rock

This is not an original, but it just shows you how they traveled... I don't think I could travel like that for long distances...

We all tried one of the games they played to keep entertained... It took some of us a while to get it....
